“From up here the boats will skim the water like stars. Every rounded window on our small jet will hold Manhattan in its blinking eye, pressed against it, just so. It is what I wanted to show you, Valentina. This and so much more.” – To Valentina.

Hello! My name is Jacqueline Goyette, and I am a teacher and a writer from Indianapolis, Indiana. For the last twenty years, I’ve been living in the small town of Macerata, Italy with my husband Antonello and our cat Cardamom. I focus mostly on creative nonfiction and hybrid, but I dabble in prose poetry and fiction too. I love writing about Italy, and family, and home.
